What does it take to make the Gooses Acre Roundabout in Midleton bloom?

Two people who know only too well are Town Foreman, Billy Buckley and Andrew McVea, Centre Manager, Market Green, who have invested in 2,500 bedding plants, 60 Agapanthus Blue Storm plants and 60 Choisya Aztec Pearls for the roundabout which are now, quite frankly, blooming marvellous.

Plenty of man hours went into getting the area into shape, and Billy and Andrew are both delighted with the outcome.

The amount of foot traffic that passes this way each day is phenomenal, so its nice for them to have something so attractive to look at, Andrew enthuses, with Billy adding, Its great to see this area looking so colourful and it really makes it a focal point for the town.

And, if we continue to get sunshine and showers over the coming weeks, flower power will, indeed, reign.
